Shipping Policies

Direct Stair Parts only ships to the 48 continental states.  We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska. 

Shipping charges are based on a per product weight and length basis and may vary from product to product.

Orders are shipped via ground transportation. Orders less than  96” in length and under 150 pounds in weight will be shipped via UPS or FedEX. Orders over this size limit (Over Sized Orders) will be shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight services such as Southeastern Freight, R+L Carriers, FedEx Freight and Dugan.  Once orders are placed and paid, they cannot be cancelled.

Deliveries must be examined immediately for missing or damaged products. These can be compared to your order slip and the shippers packing list. Any missing or damaged products must be noted on the shipper’s bill of lading. Any missing or damaged parts not marked on the bill of lading will be replaced at the customer’s expense if the shipping company does not cooperate and the bill of lading is not marked missing or damaged at time of delivery. Damaged shipments should be refused at time of delivery. directstairparts.com must be notified of any missing or damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt of products. Missing or damaged products will be replaced and can only be shipped via ground transportation and must have a Return Authorization Number. Orders will be processed and shipped within 4-7 business days (pending availability) unless otherwise noted. You will receive an email once your order has been received, processed and shipped. The last email stating that it has been shipped will include your tracking information. From time to time something may change in which case the customer will be notified by email and updated as to the delay. Some items are shipped only in box quantities and can only be returned in box quantities.
